A MESSAGE FROM TONY

Hello, I’m Tony Wallis.

Castleford has been my home for 75 years; I served the town as a councillor for 26 years. Although I’m now retired from the council, I haven’t retired from caring about Castleford. I remain involved with local groups and believe our town is at its best when people listen, share ideas and work together.

I created ‘Talk Castleford with Tony’ as an independent and welcoming place where residents can celebrate local successes, discuss problems, promote community groups and businesses, take part in surveys and suggest practical ways to improve the town.

This is a place a place for you to join in. You can answer a survey, suggest a topic, share a local story, promote an activity or offer an idea for Castleford’s future.

Talking is the starting point. The real aim is participation, cooperation and practical action.
